When you register on one of our web sites, your personal contact information provided on the registration form (including your name, e-mail address, and fax) is added to an electronic mailing list so that we can fulfill your order and, from time to time, send you product information or news about changes to our web site. In addition, Architecture256™ may share this data collected about subscribers with:
• Other units within the family of the Finicon Group of Companies;
• Third party vendors who are authorized to use this information solely to perform services (such as a “mailing” house) on our behalf
• Companies outside the Finicon Group of Companies whose products or services we feel may be of interest to you;
• Applicable project owners and architects so that they can monitor use of their intellectual property rights in the applicable plans and specifications;
• Companies outside the Finicon Group of Companies for purposes of lead generation.  These may include sponsors of our Continuing Education courses and white papers, manufacturers of products you demonstrate interest in throughout our Web sites or other businesses who may contact you based on a listing in a directory published by Architecture256™ that includes your contact information.
Your information will be maintained in a secure database at our offices and the database will be accessed only by authorized employees.

Use of Cookies and Browser-Level Information
A "cookie" is a small piece of information that a Web site can store in a designated file on your computer.  Cookies can be used, among other things, to identify you when you log in to a Web site, and may track your IP address in order to do so.
Architecture256™ and our advertisers use cookies to customize your experience on our Web sites.  Cookies help us avoid having you see the same advertisements multiple times and ensure that the advertising you receive is as relevant as possible. Architecture256™ does not use cookies to collect any personally-identifiable information and we do not give third-party advertising companies access to your personally-identifiable information.
In addition, we may use Web beacons, provided by third-party advertising companies, to help manage and optimize our online advertising and product performance. Web beacons enable us to recognize a browser's cookie when a browser visits this site, and to learn which banner ads bring users to our Web site.
Third-party advertising companies may also place their own cookies on your browser and record your IP address to present ads that may be of interest to you. Most website browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser settings to display a warning before accepting a cookie or to refuse all cookies. Please note that if an advertiser asks us to show an advertisement to a certain audience (for example, men ages 18-34) or audience segment (for example, men ages 18-24 who have viewed sports content) and you respond to that ad, the advertiser or ad-server may conclude that you fit the description of the audience they are trying to reach.   We do not have access to these third party cookies nor any information they contain. Architecture256™ only authorizes third parties to employ anonymous cookies for ad delivery and anonymous targeting.  .
Customers may choose not to accept cookies. Your Web browser may alert and permit you to refuse cookies. When you receive an alert, you may choose at that time to refuse that cookie. If the use of cookies is a concern to you, then please make sure your browser has this capability, and that you set your browser to alert you accordingly.  In order to change these cookie preferences, you must change your browser's preferences to disable cookies or delete cookies. Please note that disabling cookies for some services may affect the ability to use that service. Security information is specific to each browser and operating system. Please check with your browser's specific company for more information. Some examples of how to change your browser's preferences are as follows: In Internet Explorer (versions 6 and up), this option is listed under Tools > Internet Options > Privacy. The setting has to be set to Block All Cookies. In Netscape (versions 7 and up), this option is listed under Edit > Preferences > Privacy & Security > Cookies. The Disable Cookies button should be checked.  You may need to download a more current version of your web browser from your service provider in order to obtain this option.
